Fast-charging prices vary dramatically. The same charger can cost 59 ct/kWh for one driver and 85 ct/kWh for another – depending on which app, card or contract they use. ChargingTime helps you find the cheapest option in seconds.
Why are prices so different?
Every charging provider sells kWh at different wholesale conditions. Roaming fees are added on top if you pay through a different app than the operator's native one. That's why a direct operator session is often cheaper than a roaming session – but not always.
How ChargingTime compares prices
- You add your existing charging cards to the app.
- ChargingTime shows operator prices, card prices and ad-hoc prices side by side.
- We highlight the cheapest option – even if that's not ChargingTimePay.
- Filter by price along your route to find the best-value stop.
Independent and transparent
We don't favour our own payment method when a competitor is cheaper. Transparency is the whole point of ChargingTime – you see what you pay, before you tap the plug.
